We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our tax team! The ideal candidate will be experienced working in the fast-paced corporate or public accounting environments with an entrepreneurial spirit and roll up your sleeves mentality.
What you will be doing:
Prepare quarterly and annual US tax provisions in accordance with US GAAP/ASC 740Assist in tax accounting control compliance and documentation requirements for Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404Prepare US income tax returns including: Forms 1120, 1065, 5471, and state returnsPrepare detailed work papers to support federal, international, and state income tax compliance, including book to tax adjustments, GILTI and TCJA calculations, state apportionment, quarterly estimates, and tax credits.Prepare monthly US sales tax returnsAssist responding to tax notices for all tax types across various jurisdictionsWork cross functionally with the Accounting and Finance team, external advisors, and external auditors to timely close the books each month end, provide requested information, and resolve questionsAssist in implementing new tools to improve efficiency and performance across the tax teamStay current with tax legislation changes and support the Tax Director in evaluating the impactDevelop and maintain relationships throughout the organization to increase understanding of the business and keep current with transactions and/or other changes/activities that may affect the tax resultsSupport the Tax Director with various ad hoc projectsWhat you should bring:
Degree in tax, accounting, finance or related field2-5 years of previous relevant experience in industry or public accountingKnowledge of US GAAP accounting Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and digest large amounts of data requiredNetSuite, Vertex Cloud, Corptax knowledge is a plus but not requiredExcellent time and self-management skills and ability to prioritize critical projectsWork perks at Greenlight:

Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.
The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $65,000- 85,000
The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO):$65,000-75,000
