Role Summary:
Responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for both Android and iOS applications, ensuring high-quality releases through continuous integration and shift-left testing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain automated test cases using C#, Selenium, and Appium.
– Integrate tests into Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous testing.
– Utilize BrowserStack for cross-device test execution.
– Collaborate with developers to reuse product code and ensure consistent coding standards.
– Implement tests using Gherkin syntax (e.g., SpecFlow).
– Ensure traceability by tagging tests with ADO work item IDs.
– Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared test libraries.
Required Skills:
– Proficiency in C# and .NET.
– 3+ years with experience with Appium, Selenium, BrowserStack, and mobile test automation.
– Knowledge of Gherkin/SpecFlow for BDD-style test writing.
– Experience with iOS and Android testing.
– Familiarity with Azure DevOps, including pipelines and test management.
– Understanding of test pyramid and shift-left testing principles.
